CODE OF CONDUCT

Sportsmanship and Respect

  • Treat all players, officials, and spectators with courtesy.

  • Display good sportsmanship—win or lose.

  • Avoid taunting and offensive language/gestures towards others.

  • Never throw paddles or enter courts mid-point.

  • Offer advice only when requested.

Fair Play

  • Follow the rules and play honestly.

  • Respect others’ calls; if unsure, discuss politely and accept the outcome.

Safety

  • Play safely and avoid reckless actions.

  • Wear eye protection and suitable court shoes.

  • Stop play for unsafe situations; return stray balls appropriately.

Integrity

  • Be fair and honest; no cheating or intentional miscalls.

  • Self-correct when mistakes occur.

  • Respect the facility.

  • Care for courts, nets, and equipment.

  • Follow site-specific rules (footwear, cleanup, etc.)

Positive Attitude

  • Encourage and support others.

  • Be gracious in victory or defeat.

Conflict Resolution

  • Handle disagreements calmly and respectfully.

  • Seek compromise or involve another member if needed—then move on.

Reporting Misconduct

  • Report unacceptable behavior to any Club officer.

  • Members should self-report any misconduct.

Violations of this Code of Conduct will be reviewed by the Board and may result in suspension or termination of membership. Following this Code ensures a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone.
