Our Club

The Redwood Pickleball Club was founded in 2024 to help grow the sport of pickleball in Sonoma County. But we also recognize the power of pickleball to foster community and build camaraderie. Our hope is that pickleball players of all ages can come together and embrace the spirit of fun and friendly competition that is at the very heart of our club.

Message from our Club President

Hi there!

I stumbled upon pickleball after wrapping up my rewarding career as a Neonatal Intensive Care RN. It was love at first serve! The game, the energy, and especially the friendships it brought into my life were simply amazing.

That's why we created the Redwood Pickleball Club Sonoma County. Our club is all about celebrating our shared passion for pickleball and each other. We’re here to build a lively, inclusive community, so whether you're just starting out or you’re a seasoned player, you’ll fit right in.

Let’s enjoy the game, improve our skills, and create lasting memories together.

Plus, we believe in ‘Pickleball with a Purpose’—giving back to our community through various initiatives and events.

So, we hope you will grab your paddle and join us.

Here’s to unforgettable games, lifelong friendships, and making a positive impact together!

See you on the court! 🌟

Linda Cerini

President, Redwood Pickleball Club Sonoma County

Our History

It all started with five friends—Rich, Keating, Kyle, Cathy, and Barbara—who met at a “Learn to Play” pickleball class in 2022. What began as a fun way to stay connected quickly grew into a thriving WhatsApp group of more than 60 local players.

As the community expanded, so did the vision. In 2024, Redwood Pickleball Club Sonoma County was officially formed to provide organized play, social events, and opportunities to give back to the community through our “Playing with a Purpose” philosophy.

In 2026, the Club established its home at Centerline 33, providing members with year-round access to both indoor and outdoor courts.

While the Club has grown significantly since those early days, our commitment to a friendly, welcoming atmosphere remains unchanged. To help preserve the sense of community that makes RPCSC special, membership is capped. However, we maintain an active waitlist and are always excited to welcome new members as spaces become available.
